I'm working wih windows xp sp2, outlook express 6, and when the sent items
has an amount of 8.679 mails, the mails keeps on the outbox, gving me some
troubles, cause the mails are sent variouns times. also i have to delete them
from outbox, to
avoid it keep happening. i need to know wich is the limit of the outbox,
bacause when i deleted all sent items, it was working fine.

Do not store messages in the default folders such as Sent Items, Inbox,
Deleted Items or Drafts. Create folders under Local Folders for
archiving. Do not let the .dbx files go over 100 MBs. Compact your
folders regularly and set Outlook Express to work offline while compacting.

Alias

The physical limit is 2 GB.

It's generally recommended to keep the DBX files under 100 MB. The
larger they get, the more prone to corruption they are. The most
heavily used files (Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items) are more prone to
corruption.

Also, regular Compacting (File, Folders, Compact All) is needed.
