Default Inserted images appear in text

I have two computers running XP SP2. When I Insert a jpg image as a file
attachment it shows the file name in the Attach window on both computers but
on one it also shows the image in the body of the message below the text,
this computer also displays received images in the text (as well as the OE
warning message in the bar above the text).
I do not want this to happen. I have checked Tools-Options-Security both
"Do not allow attachments..." and "Block images..." are checked on both
computers as is HTML for mail.
I can not understand why one shows images in the preview pane and the other
does not.
Any suggestions welcome

Review the info at the bottom of the page in this link for some help with
"fixing" that, although it is default behaviour in Outlook Express and does
not present any problem:

Thank you for that Jim.

Did not find either value on either PC. Searched the Registry for "Inline
Images", found "Display Inline Images" at HKCU\Soft\MS\IE\Main and another
in HKLM.
Used the OE 5 solution inserting new values.
The OE warning message was there but did not respond to a double clik so I
temporarily unchecked "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened..." in
OE\Tools|Options\Security. Attachment window appeared allowing me to save
the image.

Presume that is OK.
Gilbert

It should be OK. Post back to this thread if you encounter any problem with
those settings. Good luck.
