I need to be able to recover some email from a Deleted Items folder without
having to spent money that I really don't have. I have a copy of the Deleted Items folder saved seperate from my main message store. What is the best (and free) way to do so? |

If you have an uncorrupted DBX file and want to just view the contents, try
using this program (freeware): OE Reader download and review - view Outlook Express .dbx files: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/dbxviewer.html It will not work on a corrupted file however. But there are other utilities for that. DBXtract from www.oehelp.com is low cost ($5). -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
