Hello,
TGZ type files are usually linux/unix TAR (archive files) post compressed with gzip. Under linux/unix they may have tar.gz as extension. Under Windows DOS they are usually named with the "tgz" extension. IE6 replaces this extension with TAR which is not correct, since TAR files are either not compressed or compressed with "compress". IE6 should preserve the TGZ extension for these files. My IE6 version: Version : 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 Niveau de cryptage : 128-bit ID de produit (Product ID) :55639-OEM-0014574-83228 Versions des mises à jour :; SP2; Regards, Daniel F Valot |
