Sorry for posting to the wrong newsgroup, In fact I was downloading from my own web site: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/dvalot/download/emt4x435.tgz and the file is renamed emt4x435.tar on my three pc running Windows XP family version SP2 with last updates I am pretty sure this is a recent change in IE6, because I didn't notice it earlier. I suppose it has something to do witrh the explanations he http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...e_handling.asp The wrong file name already appears on the "save as..." dialog.
