My browser is unable to "Send page by email". It required me to "Choose
profile". The only option was "Outlook" which had been installed although I didn't use it, I only use Outlook Express. When accepting this option an error appeared, reporting that the MAPI spooler could not be started (MAPI 1.0 [000004C7]). Then I uninstalled Outlook and now "Send by email is disabled completely (grey). How do I get Outlook Express back as MAPI client? (Windows XP SP2, IE6.0 SP2, OE6.0 SP2) (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=178077 doesn't help, OE doesn't appear as an option.) |

See if this helps.
Make OE the default e-mail client: http://www.oehelp.com/oedef.aspx For links in e-mail: http://www.oehelp.com/oelnk.aspx And: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306098 Note that if you download an update for Office/Outlook, Outlook may be switched to be the default e-mail client. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Arnold" wrote in message oups.com...
