Get it at www.avast.com but when you install it, go for Advanced and don't install Email or Exchange scanning. Alias |

If I remember correctly, there is a box to un tick. That said, I still recommend you dump AVG and get Avast! It's much more user friendly and, like AVG, free. www.avast.com Alias "Alias" wrote in message ... gary marsden wrote: Hi I cannot send or recieve mails via Outlook Express unless i disable plugins on my AVG antivirus that scans mail!. Yes, you can disable AVG's Email Scanning but WinXP Security Center won't
like it. Best bet is to follow _mac's advice: Uninstall AVG then do a Custom reinstall opting out of Email Scanning. I did see your post, just haven't got round to it yet & was wondering if by
deleting the pop & smtp would work as well without reinstalling & installing! mmm "PA Bear" wrote in message ... mac wrote: "PA Bear" wrote in message ... It takes no longer than 3 or 4 minutes to do it. + definition updates. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] |
