Default Permanently disabling mail plugins in AVG

Hi
I cannot send or recieve mails via Outlook Express unless i disable
plugins on my AVG antivirus that scans mail!.
I can disable the plugin, but as soon as i shut down or restart, i have to
do it again.
Is there a way of permanently disabling.

Thanks

Remove AVG via Add/remove programs in control panelinstall it again after

How did you disable it?

Personally, I prefer AVAST! over AVG. Get it at www.avast.com but when
you install it, go for Advanced and don't install Email or Exchange
scanning.

If I remember correctly, there is a box to un tick. That said, I still
recommend you dump AVG and get Avast! It's much more user friendly and,
like AVG, free.

Yes, you can disable AVG's Email Scanning but WinXP Security Center won't
like it. Best bet is to follow _mac's advice: Uninstall AVG then do a
Custom reinstall opting out of Email Scanning. BT/DT.
