Hey Jerks. I am in college...yet I can differenciate between the
newsgroups. (And I can thread, as well).
If you will notice my lack of spelling skills, however, I do have a
problem... My outlook express is now set on only Spanish and French. I
tried to change the option back to English, but to my horror...no English
option. I was wondering if anybody knew how to correct this...

Wow, how strange. A real OE question from wintu.

You probably need to reinstall the proofing tools for Office on your
computer. OE spell checker uses the Office dictionaries, so that's
probably where the problem is.

Its differentiate, not "differenciate".

I actually fixed the problem, thanks to all of your help. I just installed a trial version of Word 2007, lol, which was the reason for the screw up.
I really can believe that many of the new students get messed up a bit with there news groups...although tech support as well as the graduation team are really supposed to help with all problems (I guess I got lucky that way--in receiving good support and I was gifted with a little common sense, eh?)
Sorry for the "Jerk" part, though, lol. It really didn't seem right to flame in a news group.

I saw your post, but did not know the answer. I realized it was a legit
question to this newsgroup. But now, you have latched on to a thread started
by BARBARA JESSEN, who is a JERK!. Do a Google search and see how many
*Personal* messages are posted to Outlook Express newsgroups from
@email.wintu.edu and you will see why we are cynical. It is second only to
the others that choose to spam the NG.

FYI: Karen Lawler has been contacted many times about this and she finally
said that she gave up trying to solve this problem as the students did not
realize the difference between Private Newsgroups, where they were supposed
to be posting to, and this newsgroup. Ask Karen why "Virginia is for
Dummies".
