Often when I am trying to cut and paste into an email, I get the following
message: 'Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." Is there any way to change my settings so I don't get this message? It seems to only affect the formatting of the text. Is there really a security issue surrounding this? |

Thanks for the fix. I don't understand why I should set it back afterwards.
I'd just like to leave it as you've stated so I don't get these messages in the future, which I seem to get when copying relatively innocuous text into emails, either from Word documents on my computer or from web sites. Is there some security issue with leaving it this way? Could you please explain what the risk to OE is if I leave it this way?

You will be allowing any message you open or read in the Preview Pane to run
a small program (an ActiveX control) and who knows what it will do. "Mary Ann B." wrote in message Could you please explain what the risk to OE is if I leave it this way?
