Default Making Outlook Express the default mail program

The problem I have is trying to make outlook express the default mail
handler. I have Outlook installed on the same PC, but cannot select OE as the
default.

I have tried going into the Tools - Intenet Options - Programs section
within Internet Explorer but OE is not an option on the pull down list.

I have also set OE to be the default from within the outlook express program
itself, but still it does not become the default.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi peter the process is simple

Open Internet Explorer;
Click Tools,
Click Internet options;
Click Programs and change the default Default Email program from the
dropdown box.

Please can you click the yes or now question as to wether this was helpfulll
from below.

Alias - I made a little mistake - At least I havent been advising people to
break the law by providing them with invalid information on licensing! It is
you that Is not doing very well - I have read your posts!

Many times, if you get an update for MS Outlook, it sets Outlook as the
default e-mail client. So keep a copy of this for the future.

Make OE the default e-mail client:
http://www.oehelp.com/oedef.aspx

For links in e-mail:
