Default OE6/IE6 picture-icon problems

Hi guys,
Can't understand why xp won't show pictures in some instances. If I get an
email with pictures attached I can them. If I want to save and attach
them to another email later O.E.6 won't let me all I get is a small box with
a red X in centre. Also when I look at eBay using I.E. sp2, allot of the
categories icons have the same problem , the red X. Would appreciate some
advice on how to correct this. Thanks for your help
Regards
Bob

Asked/Answered in WinXP General newsgroup. If you must make identical posts
to multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them.
Thank you.

Sorry about the cross post, but after posting on the wrong newsgroup, and
you chastising me for doing it, I thought I would do the right thing and
place it on the correct newsgroup, but apparently I have done the wrong
thing again. sorry
Regards
Bob
