I receive a message that says to " Create an association in folders Options
control panel." The folder it is evidently looking for is C:\Documents and Settings\ My Place\Local settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content IE5\2B... The Documents and Setting folder contains My Place folder and that's it. The Temporary Internet folder is under Windows with IE5, but thats it. The associated file reference to open was a Nero software product and not msMedia. I changed the open with reference to the msMedia Program file but that didn't do it. Which file do I need it to reference? Any help to what is going on? I should note that I lost my email connection using the Icon in Internet Explorer. I now access Email from the Windows file. |

I should note that I lost my email connection using the Icon in Internet
Explorer. I now access Email from the Windows file. Windows version? Running IE7 Beta2, by any chance? Can you open the WMV file if you first save it to your hard-drive? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org Dick C wrote: I receive a message that says to " Create an association in folders Options control panel." I fixed the problem. The file opened with my Nero software and not media
when I saved it. Went back under options and set it to open as a media player file. It seems to work. Thanks to all!!
