When I insert pictures into messages (HTML), and send it, it's not received
to the recipient. It is listed as sent, but it is not received. I've sent it to myself but same result. It just started happening from April. The PC spec is: Windows XP Home SP2, Celeron 2.8ghz, 768MB RAM, Outlook Express 6, Norton Internet Security 2005 anti-spyware. I also have a laptop, with same Norton but that works fine. Is my Outlook Express broken? |

Is the entire message not received, or just the picture? If all looks well
in Sent Items, then your ISP received it OK. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Quaver" wrote in message ... Does it show in Sent Items? Do HTML messages work without images? Does your
Laptop use the same ISP and e-mail address? Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see: http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced. Make sure "Break apart messages........." is not checked. You may have a damaged identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages from the old identity and delete it. Yes, it shows in the sent items. HTML messages works without images.
My laptop use the same ISP and email address. It's broadband via netgear router. Could be to do with my ISP. Posted a message there now. Now tried disabling the antivirus scanner. Don't think it worked... Break apart message was not ticked. I haven't created new identities yet. I don't think same problem could occur on 2 different PCs? Thank you for all your help. Any more ideas? I have checked spam both on webmail and Norton (it's has always been disabled though). Any more help would be very much appreciated... "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Does it show in Sent Items? AFAIK, If the message shows in Sent Items, then the problem should lie
outside of OE. Perhaps your ISP has restricting rules as far as size, maybe? -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Quaver" wrote in message ... Yes, it shows in the sent items.
