It's got to be more than my imagination. Ever since I restored my "damaged"
address book by uninstalling that KB911567 MS security update and the three other reportedly-related updates a couple weeks ago, my daily email spam rate has dropped by 90%. Where I used to get at least 50 - 60 spam messages per day, plus another 20 - 30 in my Norton Antispam folder, I now get maybe three or four a day total. I made no other changes in my system other than deleting those four updates. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon, or am I somehow magically blessed? If there's an explanation here, it could be bottled and sold for a small fortune. Bruce |

You should only have removed the KB911567 update, the dialogue that warns about them not working does not appear to have any truth in it? I suggest that you visit Windows update and install all updates offered except for KB911567. See: http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#14 -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] |

Even spammers need to take a crap, get sick, have accidents, take vacations, and die. Spam volume always fluctuates.
