Default Ampersand symbol

Hi Tim:

I had started and struggled with that site before I came here. Undoubtedly
I must have a basic setting that is fighting me.

I used to go with WordPerfect, and there it was easy by just changing the
font of that one character.

Must be getting senile.

Roger

Hi Roger,

This should be taken care of automatically when composing in a new message
window, but I must be missing how you are creating the message.

In the source code B&B would look like:

B&B (name code)
B&B (number code)

I have been trying in vain to have an "&" symbol appear in an HTML email
or
webpage.
Specifically I would like B&B to be accepted, in an HTML email.
I am floundering.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Roger
