Default Ampersand symbol

Have you tried substituting the characters: ;& where you would place
your ampersand? Just to see if it might work?

Hth,

I have been trying in vain to have an "&" symbol appear in an HTML email

or
webpage.
Specifically I would like B&B to be accepted, in an HTML email.
I am floundering.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Roger
