Default 550 relay not permitted, @homecall.co.uk

It was configured that way so I unchecked it after reading ntl's tutorial on
setting up e-mail accounts. Have sent a message to
, which was the address in the returned mail asking
them what is going on but don't know how long I will wait for a response.
Thanks for everyones help, will keep you informed.

As of today I cannot send e-mails to above domain, I am @ntlworld.com,
I can
send e-mail to anyone else. My friend @homecall.co.uk can send me
e-mail and
other people, When I send e-mail to @homecall.co.uk (I have tried 3
accounts)
it is returned immediately with the following message :
Reporting-MTA: dns; mtaout01-winn.ispmail.private.ntl.com
Arrival-Date: Wed, 10 May 2006 21:45:07 +0100
Received-From-MTA: dns; aamtaout02-winn.ispmail.ntl.com
(81.103.221.35)

Final-Recipient: RFC822;
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Remote-MTA: dns; mx0.123-reg.co.uk (195.224.48.120)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 relay not permitted
Anyone any idea's ? any help would be gratefully appreciated

What if you send your mails using a different e-mail provider, like from
a freebie webmail account at Yahoo or Hotmail? Could be NTL's mail
server isn't configured how Homecall want's it configured (like NTL not
having a valid MX record).

Have you tried configuring your e-mail account in OE so it authenticates
to your SMTP server at NTL?
