Default E mail attachments

I need "Help" as cannot seem to get anything from MSN. This is my
problem: When I receive and e mail attachment I cannot open it as I
keep getting a Pop Up message telling me I must close Dialogue Boxes
before I can open the attachment. I am also getting a maessage
"Microsoft Office Set Up" Standard edition 2003 which asks me
questions about registration and discs that I do not have. I don't know
what any othis is about!
I have passed all this info to MSN several times and each time I get a
response from them with some instructions that I have told MSN
repeatedly do not work.
I have a new HP Pavilion o141On computer. Usiing Sympatico as my ISP
SO! can any one help me to sort this mess out? I would be very
grateful
..

Default E mail attachments

What is the file extension on the problem attachments? Your problem may be
as simple as not having a program associated with a particular file
extension. For some added info, see this link:
