I need to "retrieve" some old email messages from a DBX file, but don't know
how to accomplish this. Can someone give me a step-by-step so I will be able to read these messages? Thank you in advance...much appreciated. Fran |

Outlook Express is the *reader* for dbx files. Did you lose messages? If so,
what folders, and how and when did you lose them. (i.e. After compacting?). -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Fran" wrote in message ... See the info in the last paragraph on this web page for a quick and easy way
to "insert" a single DBX file into Outlook Express. For info, DBX file are only readable by Outlook Express, unless you wish to purchase a extractor that will remove the messages as EML files.
