I am using OE6. Is there a way to remove attachments from email received
so that I can keep the message but without the attachment? Thanks in advance! Fred |

Save the message to the Desktop. File | Save as | Desktop | Save. Open it
with Notepad. Highlight and delete the attachment and drag the message back to a folder in OE. If you get a lot, this tool does this and more. You might find it worthwhile. Maybe I overlooked something -- is there a way using OE6 to do this, without
having to use a 3rd party program? "Fred" wrote in message news:aS9ag.5332$Sh3.2847@trnddc05... Thanks -- is there a freeware program that does it? "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... OE6 can not do this on its own. If there is a freeware program, I am not
aware of it. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Fred" wrote in message news:5T9ag.2300$Go6.1673@trnddc04... You can save the message to the desktop, then open it in Notepad and edit
out the attachment and then drag the edited message back into OE. steve "Fred" wrote in message news:5T9ag.2300$Go6.1673@trnddc04... Thanks, Steve, but you have to remember... you're dealing with someone who
can barely walk on his hind legs here... :OD Probably way to elementary, but that's where I am.... How do I save a message to the desktop? See what I mean? Fred "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ...
