Removing attachments from archived email?
I am using OE6. Is there a way to remove attachments from email received
so that I can keep the message but without the attachment? Thanks in advance! Fred

Removing attachments from archived email?
Save the message to the Desktop. File | Save as | Desktop | Save. Open it
with Notepad. Highlight and delete the attachment and drag the message back to a folder in OE. If you get a lot, this tool does this and more. You might find it worthwhile. OE6 can not do this on its own. If there is a freeware program, I am not

You can save the message to the desktop, then open it in Notepad and edit
