How can I make MS IE back the default browser?
The steps was: 1. Third party IE browser installed. 2. Make it default browser. 3. Third party IE browser uninstalled. Now some aplications can't start IE browser (can't find it). Wojtek |

Hi Wojtek,
You might try asking in an IE group -- this one is for OE. Two first steps to try... 1. Under IE, Tools, Internet Options Programs Reset Web Settings... 2. Set Program Access and Defaults (from the Start menu or Control Panel) Click on Custom Choose Internet Explorer -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MS-MVP - Outlook Express Lynnwood, WA * "wojtek" wrote in message ... This is IE6 group.
I don't want to reset web settings, I just want to make MS IE the default browser keeping other settings unchanged, is it impossible? All browsers, give one click option to make it default browser, why MS IE not? Actually, links from e-mail do not work, have I reinstall third party browser to make it working? As Kuay Tim said, this is *not* an Internet Explorer newsgroup. It is for
Outlook Express.
