I want to automatically reply to certain messages using message rules.
I saved the standard reply in My Documents as an email file. When the reply goes out, though, it sends the reply as an attachment, and with nothing in the message. |

This link is for an Out Of Office reply which is virtually the same as
yours. You would just have to make an adjustment for *who* gets the replies. http://www.cyberwalker.com/columns/feb01/080201.html -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "qersoft" wrote in message ... Beware, however: IFF you get spam, an auto-reply will simply relay that spem to some other innocent party, as in, whatever address happens to be in the forged From of the spam. IF it's a real address, as they often are, you'll be giving your spam to some innocent party. This can get you reported to your ISP for spamming. Probably not a problem if you only get one or two spams a week, but ... it IS a way to spam without meaning to. Can cause problems with your ISP including killing your access. Try to ONLY reply to those in your address book can help; if you have it under control. HTH, Pop |
