If I do a search for *.wab, I find two copies of the address book on my computer.
One is the standard one that I use which is in C:\documents & settings\{my name}\application data\Microsoft\address book The second one is supposed to be in C:\documents & settings\all users\documents. But there is no "visible" folder called documents under all users. (I have all hidden and system files shown as well as protected files). If I enter "WAB" in the RUN command I get the standard address book. If I enter "WAB /a" in the RUN command I get the second address book. (which is way out of date). What is going on here? and how can I clear the second, out-of-date, address book from the computer? Would I screw the system up if I just deleted the second address book from the "search" listing? Running Windows XP HE with SP2 OE and IE 6. |
