Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2869 won't remember the HTML settings for
creating new email.

Have done the Tools, Options, Send...checked and applied Html for Mail
sending. Got Internationl send settings Western European ISO and still
each and every time I want to compose email, to get the formating bar I
have to use Tools, Format..and pick Rich Text there.

Any other places where I can set Outlook Express to remember the Rich
Text HTML setting show when creating a new email?

You may have some setting in the registry that is corrupt for the identity
in use. Try creating a new identity, switch to it and create an email
account and test that. If it works there, then you can import your mail
messages from the old identity and delete the problem one. This corruption
is more likely to happen when you are using the default "Main Identity"
created when Outlook Express was first opened.

Thx so much Jim!!! That did the job. I was using the Main Identity and
creating a new one got it back in order.
