Any chance of add a new 'email' to right-click?

This would save me opening O/Express first

Do you want to create a new message and send it without opening OE? Go to
Create Mail | File | Save As and save as an eml file to your Desktop.

I'm sure this works ok, but there should be in the context menu an option to
create a new email without having to open Mail/OE. It'd be great if MS added
this, but they won't without tons of requests to do so in my opinion.

With Windows Vista using Windows Mail, a new program, you aren't going to
see any changes to OE no matter how many people ask. An update now and then
but that's it.

You can try this with OE also, but I'm not sure it works. I get it to work,
but it just puts an unsent eml file on the desktop unopened.

Hi Jethro,

It would also be possible to use a shortcut with the command:

mailto:

This will open a new message that can be sent without opening OE.

With the proper format it would be possible to pre-populate the address,
subject and message body -- all from the shortcut. This more complicated
type of shortcut is more easily made using Word.
