Default What is x-news?

I see that mentioned as the news reader software in some peoples' messages.
These people seem to have serious difficulties figuring out who said what in
a thread. Does this software not allow the messages in watched threads to be
grouped, as in Outlook Express?

XNews is _arguably_ the best newsreader for TEXT newsgroups. Any messages
posted to the wrong thread/group by an XNews user is most likely user
error.

If only it was simply a question of which newsreader people use. *sigh*

X-News is a much more capable news reader than MS Outlook
Express. It is unlikely that people using X-News are having difficulty
due to the reader. More likely, they are having difficulty with the
propensity for MS Outlook Express to promote top-posting replies.
X-News, like Super Gravity, 40tude Dialog, and any other rational news
client, promotes bottom posting.
