The message rules are in the Registry. Export this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Micro soft\Outlook
Express\5.0\Rules

Before merging it into a new Identity or new machine, edit the REG file with
WordPad and change the GUID to agree with where you want to Merge it. Block
Senders is higher up in the same 5.0 key.

In your Address Book go to Help || About and it will tell ypu the name and
location of its WAB file. Move that to My Documents (or wherever you want)
on the new computer and make sure it is not Read Only (it will be if you use
a CD). Then use OE's File | Import. Or the Address Book's File | Import.

Frank,
Got the Address Book & the mail moved to new machine, how do I export that
registry Key from here to it? I use thumb drives on my USB ports to move
other data over to it as needed.

Go to Start | Run and type
regedit
and press Enter.
In the left pane navigate to that key and then click File Export. Give it
any name you want and save it where you can find it (the USB drive would be
handy).

Frank, Got it exported but having hard time understanding your statement in
earlier post which read:
"Before merging it into a new Identity or new machine, edit the REG file
with WordPad and change the GUID to agree with where you want to Merge it.
Block Senders is higher up in the same 5.0 key."
How do I edit registry using WordPad and what do you mean by change the
GUID?

You don't edit the Registry, you edit the REG file that resulted from your
export. The {GUID} is that Big, long alphanumeric number in the store file
path.

Backup four Registry keys, remove the keys from the new PC, and replace with
the backup.
