In emails to my address, anything that has links to outside sites, do not
open IE7, but a My documents folder or nothing at all. It is happening in my grandfathered in hotmail account and a pop3 email as well. This is getting frustrating as IE7 is my default browser and OE6 is default email client. I have Mcaffee virus and firewall, I know they are not part of the problem as I had shut them all down when I downloaded IE7. Does anyone know what to do to solve this problem? |

See the information below. Since you are using a beta program, your
questions should be addressed to an appropriate newsgroup for beta participants. [Control Panel Add/Remove Programs ] Set Program Access and Defaults Browser: IE *must* be chosen here if you're running IE7 Beta 2 and want such links to work. Beta testers of IE7 Public Preview are asked to post their comments to microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.
