Default Outlook Express and Windows 2000 Users

In Windows 2000, does OE save newsgroups specific for each user?

I'm moving my Win98SE OE saved newsgroups with watched threads over to Win2K, using this
article:
http://www.insideoe.tomsterdam.com/files/store.htm

Do I need to log into Win2K with the username I will use with these newsgroups? Or there
any flexibility with users and newsgroup access?

Can more than one user share the same newsgroup account?

Default Outlook Express and Windows 2000 Users

Newsgroups are specific to a particular identity. The folders.dbx file for
each particular identity is quite different and that file is where the
information regarding subscribed newsgroups, threads read, etc. is stored.
Just copying the relevant newsgroups and folders.dbx to a different identity
will not work.

As for question 2 about sharing, the answer is yes, with a caveat. The
registry files on both machines must be identical, i.e., "clones" of one
