Default Vista Newsgroups don't show

Hmmm...... That sounds familiar. wink

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and set up
msnews in the new identity and see if you can download now, and if the Vista
groups show. I you are successful, you can import your email messages from
the old identity and delete it, or just keep the new identity for
newsgroups.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Good News, a new identity sorted out the problem.

Many thanks for the constructive advice.

Yes I sorted out the Hijack, thanks very much.

I am using msnews.microsoft.com. IE6.1, Outlook Express 6, Windows XP SP2

Would the Vista Newsgroups only be visible IE 7 users.???

I tried a new identity, that didn't work.

I can use the Vista web news groups, but I don't like to use them.

I tried both and they both worked,

How would you answer that.

I have both sets of MS newsgroups, they both work in the new identity,
but
the Vista ones show in the default identity under news.microsoft
