I get this message from time to time...it has always been a screwup or
downtime/broken ISP...not really anything to do with me...you might wish to call or email your ISP... Earthlink, for example, had a problem on and off for about 3 weeks a few weeks ago! Hi Tony,
Have you ever been able to send using the MSN account? MSN stopped giving POP3 accounts to new users some time ago. Now only some older "legacy" users have these accounts. I don't understand the difference between sending and forwarding. Is MSN the only e-mail account entered in OE? Sometimes account information needs to be re-entered. -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MS-MVP - Outlook Express Lynnwood, WA * "Tony" wrote in message ... i can recieve aqnd forward email using msn as my isp, but i can not send. i have removed norton av completely from my computer and checked all of my email settings. i get the following message when trying to send email The connection to the server has failed.
