In my experience, 8,000 to 10,0000 messages are way too many for Outlook
to handle gracefully. Having a large number of message in a folder, especially in the Inbox, can slow operations greatly. I use Outlook at work because I must, and OE at home, by choice. I've never experienced data corruption with either, so I can't say anything about the relative chances. iweb wrote: So then is MS Outlook a better option than Outlook express? Can Outlook accept more emails than OE? Are corruption chances lesser with Ms Outlook than OE? -- Gary L. Smith Columbus, Ohio |
