In email program it will say I am receiving an email but then the email
doesn't show up. I know who it's from and it's not on a block sender list. Where is this email going? There is no spam folder that I can find. If there is a spam folder, does anyone know where I can find it? I would appreciate any help someone might be able to offer. Since I know who the email is from, I want to be able to read it. Thank you. -- Jean |

Is it only from one person?
Have you checked other folders such as Deleted Items? Do you have any blocked senders or message rules? There would only be a spam folder if you had a spam program. Do you? -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jean" wrote in message news ![]() In email program it will say I am receiving an email but then the email doesn't show up. This is the first time I noticed this. So right now it is from only one
person (it is a company). I did look in the deleted folders and it wasn't there. Four or five were sent and they don't show up anywhere. I don't have any blocked senders. I did figure out how to check that. I don't know anything about message rules, what they are, or where you can find them. I have Norton Internet Security. I can't find anything about that in my OE. I did talk to Norton this morning and the guy said to call back when it happens again. I've looked and looked and looked and I can't find the messages anywhere. Nothing else has come in like this (that I know). Thanks for helping. By the way my maiden name is Hagen! -- Jean "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Is it only from one person? "By the way my maiden name is Hagen!" German descent?
View | Current View. Make sure Show All Messages is the only option checked. If it is that way already, I would highly suspect the problem is with Norton. I use, and recommend, AVG Free: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 or: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when you see the option. Norton, and McAfee, products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jean" wrote in message ... I checked the View stuff and it said show all messages. I had asked Norton
about this earlier but the guy didn't know. He said to call back right after it happens. I'll do that next. Thank you Bruce for your help. I appreciate it so much. If you don't get any satisfaction form Norton when this happens again, (they
are never going to admit their programs have a conflict with OE), download AVG, it's free, and disable Norton just to test the problem. You can always switch back. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jean" wrote in message ... I checked the View stuff and it said show all messages.
