Allow Paste is checked. So far everything that needs to be checked in IE and
OE is as it should be. It has to be something simple which is why I am
missing it lol.

Default Insert Pic in OE6

Go to Start | Run and type msconfig and disable all startup items and non-MS
services, including any antivirus and antispam software. Then reboot and
see if you can then insert the picture. If so, then its one of those
startup items that is causing the problem.

Jim,
I have had the exact same problem as "His Queen" since purchasing this new
Dell 600 XPS machine in March of this year. Checked your last, (below) and
the I.E. checkmark is in the correct position, (enable).

Still not able to send an Insert like His Queen.

Are you also running Outlook Express in the "Internet Zone" or are you
running it in the "Restricted Zone"? Check in Outlook Express menu,
Tools/Options/Security tab.

Tried both Internet and Restricted zones to 'no' avail. (one at a time
grin)
