A friend asked me how he could check the addressee names in a message where
he had used bbc and I told him it couldn't be done. Someone said Selecting the message File Properties Details would show the names but I only get "Undisclosed Recipients" doing that. Someone else said open the message in the Sent folder but there again I only find "Undisclosed Recipients". Does anyone know if this can be done and if so, how? Thanks. Stan |

You need to select the message in the Sent Items folder, then look at
the Message Source (Ctrl-F3). the BCC header will be visible there. If you are seeing "Undisclosed Recipients" you are looking at the TO header. Note: you will Not be able to see the BCC header in Received messages. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Stan" wrote in message ... Only the original sender can see that info and only in their Sent Items
folder, by highlighting the message and then pressing Ctrl+F3. All others, including those who were recipients will see "nada." That's the way it's intended to be. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. Which makes that the best method of forwarding e-mails, if you must.
If a trail of other forwards with all of those addresses ready for the picking, highlight and delete all of that info. Nobody's business. Also get rid of first, by copying message into Word, hit 'edit', to 'replace', put one into 'find', leave replace empty. Voila. All are gone. Then highlight all, copy or cut, and paste into a new e-mail. There, I've said it again. This is my plea to all forwarders. Sylvia "Jim Pickering" wrote in message ... Duly bookmarked.
I'll time each solution as I use them, then use the most efficient. Thanks. Sylvia M. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ...
