Default New Outlook express rule types?

I am trying to find add-ons, or other ways to add new message "conditions"
to the list of those included with outlook express (6). For instance, I
would
like to create a news rule that blocks messages that are being sent to other
specific newsgroups in addition to the one I am reading. Or I would like to
block mail with nothing in the "from" field. Can anyone point me to
information
on adding such functionality?

I don't know how you would be able to block messages that are cross-posted,
but you can make a rule for a blank From field.

Tools | Options | News | New:

Where the From line contains people
Delete it & Stop processing more rules
Click on "Contains People"
Type in *one at a time* each letter of the alphabet and click ADD after each
entry. When you're done, click Options and change it to *Does Not Contain*.

Why doesn't my rule work?

I don't think you'll find it possible to block crossposted newsgroup posts,
though, Bob.
