Messages from eBay and PayPal contain the email
addresses of buyers and sellers so they can contact one another. "antioch" wrote in message ... "Ken_B" wrote in message news:AOwpg.93778$IZ2.40615@dukeread07... Hey, that a-b-c etc thing sounds like a good idea! I might try that. The spam in question is being sent to email addresses ONLY used on eBay and PayPal. I have no idea how those addresses wound up on spam lists. I have made message rules to delete any mail to those accounts that do not contain the words eBay or PayPal, and that seems to be working. Thanks for all for the replies. Ken Hi Ken I do not use ebay or paypal - is this how you think your email address was obtained? - my understanding is that email addresses are obtained in all sorts of different ways. Good luck anyway. Rgds Antioch |
