1. How do I merge two Address Books, including groups? I want to end
up with one address book which contains all the entries and groups of the two previous address books? 2, How do I move (or copy) a group from one address books to another? |

Assuming you have access to both adress books, just open both of them
(double click on them) and resize them so both can be viewed on your screen. Then copy/paste from one to the other (you have to use the Enter key to approve each paste but you can paste hundreds of contacts at one time, then just hold down the Enter key until it completes). Then save the one that has all the addresses you wish to floppy or memory stick. You should be aware that when you export/import a WAB file, only those contacts that are in the Shared Contacts folder will export/import. Therefore, move all contacts you wish to keep into the shared contacts folder and later, on the computer you wish to use it on, set up your Folders and Groups and copy/paste the contacts into them. For more about the WAB file, see the info he http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. wrote in message .. . 1. I can't get this method to work. I am able to copy individual
entries, but I can't figure out how to copy groups. On the "old" one, move all the contacts out of folders and groups, and into
the Shared Contacts area. You can only copy/paste between address books in the Shared Contacts folders. Folders and Groups are "keyed" to specific identities. Please read the info at the link I earlier posted. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express wrote in message .. . I can't get this method to work.
