Can anyone tell me how to have my outlook notify me when I receive emails?

Tools | Options and check the box that says to play a sound when messages
arrive. You can also customize it more with OETune (www.oehelp.com/OETune/)

Nope. I hang out here because I know some things about MS Outlook
Express. I am totally clueless about MS Outlook. The two are related to
each other in the same way that butterfly is related to butter, or
grapefruit is related to grape.

Outlook Express puts an icon in the Notification area at the right end of
the taskbar. I don't know what Outlook does, but in either case the program
does have to be running.

Outlook and Outlook Express are very different programs. You'll get more
