![]() I am trying to set up a message rule to send a standard reply to senders who have submitted a form from a particular website. This is an extract from the source code of a typical inbound email (I receive them in HTML format) -- To: From: Reply-To: Problem is my OE6 message rules will only send my auto reply to the From address not the Reply-To address. Anyone know why, and how to rectify this please? Thanks Mikey -- |

No way to "fix" it. It's the only option available using Message Rules.
They are very limited in what they can do. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. ... Ouch! Thanks Jim. What would be the easiest/cheapest/free alternative to OE with better message handling capabilities? Thanks Mikey -- No free alternative comes to mind, although Thunderbird has some filtering that works. Turnpike is good, but not free. You have to try each option and decide which ones works best for you. Many have really ugly user interfaces, but are extremely capable. Or you can do as others do and use Mercury mail and Pegasus to serve your mail needs and filter there. http://www.pmail.com/overviews/ovw_mercury.htm -- Jim Pickering |

I don't use it but I have read good things about it. http://email.about.com/cs/winclientr...gr/foxmail.htm Eudora in sponsored mode may do what you want, but I find its interface too clunky for me. |
