Default OE removing attachments from safe contacts

Several safe contacts have sent Word attachments but OE removes them
automatically, calling them unsafe. However, these attachements are such
things as credit applications from vendors, etc. How can I change this
without comprising Outlook's security?

You wrote "OE" twice, "Outlook" once, so I will answer for OE. ;-)

Go to Tools/Options/Security and clear the second checkbox from top.

This could get ugly. The first two are *Radio Buttons*, not checkboxes.
