Under OE 6, when I open Tools/Accounts/All, I see my mail server plus 3 news
servers. I recognize them all. However there is also another entry named Active Directory. Would someone please explain what this is? Thank you. |

Would someone please explain what this is? Active Directory is an inventory of users, and many other things besides, which you would find in a network domain environment. Is your machine in a domain environment? If not, best just ignore it. If yes, chances are that it is not working properly, because not every network admin uses it for the purpose of storing user information there, especially email addresses. Gracias, Roland
No domain here. Just a simple home network of 3 computers via a DSL/Router. As you suggest, I will ignore it. "Roland Bierlein" wrote in message ...
