It's not something you can tell OE to do because the program you are using
to open it is opening it to the temp folders. Check with it's options to see
if you can make a change there.

OE uses the default system Temp folder.

Default Temporary folder ?

When you open an attachment within OE, it saves a copy of the attachment
to the Temporary Internet Files (TIF), then looks at the Windows File
Associations for the OPEN action for that file type and launches that
program passing the same of the file in the TIF.

After that, it's entirely up to the launched program as to what it does.

For performance issues, the TIF is physically several subfolders, but
effectively acts as one folder. If your application is showing the
physical folder name, it is possible that subsequent attachments may be
using a different physical folder.
