Help! cant access hotmail acct thru Outlook Express
All,
Strange problem. From my primary machine acct I'm not able to access my Hotmail accts thru Outlook Express. However, thru that same machine acct I can use OE to access my Earthlink acct. Ive trieswitching identities but without success. However if I log on to the 'guest' acct on the same machine I can readily access Hotmail using OE. Ive deleted and reinstalled the hotmail mail acct in OE and Im not able to even download the folders. Here's the message I get: Redirected Configuration: Account: Hotmail Server: http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp User name: Protocol: HTTPMail Port: 0 Secure(SSL): 0 Code: 80004005 What think, any ideas? Env: WinXP SP2 all latest patches applied. Pentium IV 2.53mhz, 30GB free disk.
