If they're not already there, put the "spectacles" in the Columns Bar. View
| Columns and Add the spectacles in a column next to the subject header.

When you want to "watch" a message, click next to the message under the
spectacles. Now, watched messages will cause the newsgroup name to change to
Red (Default) if there is a reply to that message. If you want to keep all
Watched posts at the beginning of your newsgroup messages, go to: View |
Sort by | Watch / Ignore instead of Sent. This will keep the message at the
head of the list.

If you checked the Watch / Ignore box, then they will be in the same bar as
Subject, From, Sent etc. If you don't see them, you probably have to resize
the columns slightly. They may be off to the right.

Put the cursor directly under the spectacles in the column bar and next to
the message header. Click once to Watch and the spectacles will show. Click
again and the message is Ignored. Click a third time and it is back to
normal.

You add the spectacles to a message the same way you would Flag it. See the
attached screen shot.
