I currently have somthing stuck in my inbox. When trying to download 115
incoming messages; OE stops at message 8 or 9 and then in 60 seconds times out. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? Thank you, J T Cook |

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see: http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 If still no joy, go to Earthlink's Website and log on to WebMail and delete the offending message there. If that is not an option and if it is due to the size of a message, create the following message rule and uncheck it when you're done. Tools | Message Rules | Mail | New.
