'One or more of these pictures could not be found. When you send this message
these picture....................' This has been going on the past week whenever I try to forward something, if it has more than just plain text on it. I can not find anything that might help me. I have gone to all of the boxes in OE and Internet Explorer and everything seems to be properly checked. I have also cleaned out the Folder file in OE. Updates are current, etc., etc. Can someone please help me with this as I'm tired of having to 'save as attachment'? |

Try instead to use the Forward as Attachment. That way, the original email
will be included as an attachment and you can explain to the prospective recipient what the attached email is about. But, the basic problem sounds like you are attempting to forward a message formatted in HTML and your email settings are to use Plain Text for mail. Might try looking at your choices under Tools/Options/Send and see. Also make sure you have the settings for HTML to "include pictures." -- Jim Pickering MVP-Outlook Express/Windows Mail Please reply to newsgroup only so that others may be helped with your feedback. I have begun using the Forward as Attachment and let everyone in my address
book know what the problem is and why I am forwarding this way. I keep my Send on the HTML and include pictures. I have absolutely no idea what the problem is and I would very much like to correct it. As I said, it began this around a week ago. I run my virus and spyware scan daily and they are clean, so I know that isn't it. Plus, I keep them updated. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks for whatever help you can give. -- gbodd "Jim Pickering" wrote: Try instead to use the Forward as Attachment. Once again, the problem may be with the sender's original formatting. Many
use improper HTML coding that is not supported by Outlook Express, but without looking at the incoming message, it's hard to be certain. Also some "list digests" are notorious for their lousy coding of HTML messages. Ctrl+F3 will allow you view the coding being used. -- Jim Pickering MVP-Outlook Express/Windows Mail Please reply to newsgroup only so that others may be helped with your feedback. Ordinarily I would agree with you as that has happened before, but this is
happening on every single one that I forward. After going through every possible thing I can think of, I'm beginning to think that there might be a problem with Outlook Express that has popped up recently........possibly corruption, etc. Is there any way that I can check on that and if that is the case, is there any way to repair the problem? -- gbodd "Jim Pickering" wrote: Once again, the problem may be with the sender's original formatting. You can try the fix outlined in this KB article and see if it helps although

Try turning off email scanning and see if that fixes it: see
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Also compose a new message with a picture and send it to yourself. Then forward it to yourself and see if that works. If it does, then it could be a problem with the program the original user is sending with, which prevents the image being properly forwarded. steve "Glen" wrote in message ... That didn't work either. As I said, it happens on all of them if there is a
picture or cartoon, etc. and I need to forward it to people. I'm still open to any and all suggestions. Surely, someone has had this same problem at one time or the other. -- gbodd "Steve Cochran" wrote: Try turning off email scanning and see if that fixes it: see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Also compose a new message with a picture and send it to yourself.
