Default screwy password problem

Hello. When opening OE6 (dial up) the password in the dial up connection box
is some sixteen characters long, more than double my real password. This
occurs no matter how often I correct it be it in the connections box or dial
up settings box. It may be trivial compared to some of the other problems on
this board but it's getting real annoying. Thanks.

It really isn't a problem,. WinXP disguises the length of the password.
Try just using it as is.

That's by design; it hides the length of the password that way to
passers-by, making it harder to guess. Far as I know there's nothing the
user can do about it.
