McAfee SpamKiller causes OE6 new-message window to launch in background.
Just to let everyone know that, on a brand new Win XP installation
shipped with free McAfee with McAfee SpamKiller installed in Outlook Express 6, on launching a new-message-compose window in OE6, the window flashes momentarily then moves to the background, requiring you to click on the taskbar button to bring it to the foreground. Uninstalling SpamKiller fixed the problem. But WARNING!!!! McAfee's goddamned Uninstall Wizard dys-intuitively asks you to check the boxes of the components you want to KEEP installed, not uninstall. So natch, I SpamKiller, and the piece of crap then uninstalled everything BUT SpamKiller. ***
